Scripps Health Hospital

Scripps Health Hospital in Chula Vista expanded its existing 4.7-acre campus to nearly 8.8 acres, incorporating additional buildings, off-site road widening, and a new private stormwater and sewer pump station. Part of the work involved relocating 600 feet of 6-inch cast iron water lines and replacing aging sewer infrastructure.
SB&O led capacity analyses on the local "G" Street sewer system and provided design solutions for roadway median installations, utility relocations, and a raised storm drain in 5th Avenue. The firm also performed boundary/topographic surveys, construction staking for building foundations, pump stations, and final as-builts for municipal acceptance.
