- 5+ years of project management experience in fiber deployment, telecommunications infrastructure, or utility construction
- Proven experience managing OSP fiber projects including permitting and construction oversight
- Working knowledge of ISP installation, rack layouts, inside plant upgrades, and fiber splicing workflows
- Strong understanding of electric utility infrastructure, transmission and distribution (T&D) asset types, attachment standards, and make ready processes

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of fiber deployment projects with both OSP and ISP components
- Develop project schedules, budgets, scopes of work, and risk assessments
- Conduct recurring project meetings and status reviews with clients, utility partners, and internal teams
- Oversee route analysis, make ready requirements, splicing plans, fiber characterizations, and inside plant installation activities
- Ensure ISP work is integrated into the broader OSP build plan and completed in alignment with milestones
- Participate in field walks, site inspections, and constructability reviews
- Work closely with electric transmission and distribution engineering groups, planners, and field construction teams
- Manage fiber placement on electric poles, overhead structures, underground conduits, vaults, and substation pathways
- Navigate challenges such as clearances, structure loading, safety rules, switching requirements, outage coordination, and other utility specific constraints
- Support pole attachment, make ready engineering, and utility permitting processes
- Coordinate permitting with utilities, municipalities, and state agencies
- Manage submittals for encroachments, traffic control plans, environmental requirements, and construction approvals
- Maintain documentation, as builts, and closeout packages in accordance with client and regulatory standards
- Provide leadership to contractors and internal support teams
- Monitor construction quality, resolve field issues, and verify compliance with engineering specifications
- Develop regular progress reports, dashboards, and communication packages for clients and internal leadership
