PLANNING ENGINEERING SURVEYING

  • Oversee preparation of subdivision maps, boundary/procedure of surveys, and easement plats and legal descriptions
  • Oversee and/or prepare construction staking calculations
  • Task assignment and supervision of staff
  • Preparation of project contract documents
  • Preparation of marketing materials and proposals to help identify and procure new work
  • Project scope and fee development, scheduling and tracking
  • Manage client relations
  • Managerial tasks and effort in support of corporate procedures, goals and objectives

  • BS degree in Civil Engineering (or imminent graduation)• EIT Certificate (or equivalent) or testing date scheduled
  • 0-1 year experience with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel & Outlook
  • 0-1 year experience with Civil 3D 2022 or more recent version.
  • 0-1 year related civil engineering experience
  • California driver license

Salary will be based on a combination of experience and education.

POSITION TITLE:  Civil Engineering Project Manager

We are actively seeking an experienced, motivated individual to serve as a Civil Engineering Project Manager in our Temecula office.

Candidate will be an experienced California Registered Civil Engineer, with 7 years or more of engineering experience, of which at least 2 years has been spent in responsible charge of project design management. A project engineer will be expected to prepare project schedules, estimates of engineering effort (contracts, work order confirmations), edit billing and manage the overall project designs as well as project budgets. This will involve the application of mature engineering judgement and knowledge of planning and project management.
Candidate must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, project and people management skills. Candidate must be proficient in AutoCAD, Land Development Desktop (LDD) and Microsoft Office; Civil 3D a plus. Current knowledge of local public agency codes, processes and requirements is very beneficial.
