Description
Scripps Highlands is a 58-acre development in San Diego that includes 159 single-family residential lots. Situated east of Interstate 15 between Mira Mesa Boulevard and Scripps Poway Parkway, the site required careful grading and infrastructure planning on a hillside adjacent to Caltrans right-of-way. SB&O served as Engineer and Surveyor of Record, processing planned residential development permits, tentative and final subdivision maps, grading plans, and hydrology/hydraulic reports. The scope also involved designing public road improvements, sewer, water, and storm drain facilities. Boundary surveys and construction staking were key to ensuring accurate site development in challenging terrain.
